“Nikola
Tesla-150” is a multifunctional system possibly useful for
photogrametric and GPS mapping, traffic control, sport and public
events surveilance, fire control, analysis of air contamination in
critical situations and for all the other purposes where some data
analysis from the air is needed. ”Nikola Tesla-150” consists of
ground station and remote (or automated) controled UAV. The ground
station serves for control of the vehicle and collecting and
analysing of data sent by the vehicle. Two operators work on the
ground station, one is a “pilot” and the task of the second
operator is to control the observation system and analyze the data
retreived. Their mutual task is to perform UAV’s navigation. The
operating radius of the vehicle is limited by power of transceiver
and in the first relase will be arround 60 km. The operating altitude
is 1000 m at cruising speed of 20 m/s. The maximum take-off weight is
40 kg.
